APARTMENT HOLZGAU 1758
The 300-year-old traditional house “Holzgau 1758” has been lovingly refurbishing and offers enough space for large families and groups. When renovating the interior, we took care to retain the charm of our traditional house and combine it with modern furnishings and technology.
HISTORY
The former trading house has been family-owned throughout and is still used today as an agricultural and forestry building, so that we continue to live the tradition of our ancestors to this day.
Angela and Robert took over the traditional house in 2018 and continue to run the family farm and forestry business.
The traditional house is a place where history and modernity merge in a fascinating way. Guests can enjoy the unique atmosphere of the house while exploring the beauty of the surrounding nature.

The Lechtal Aktiv Card offers you great advantages to make your vacation as varied as possible. It provides an exceptionally wide range of free and discounted leisure activities throughout the entire Lechtal Nature Park region – and even beyond its borders.

The Tiroler Lech Valley offers not only plenty of space for leisurely hikes and mountaineering, but also a wide variety of activities for all ages. Whether it’s the Simms Waterfall Adventure Via Ferrata, the suspension bridge in Holzgau, the Vital Trail, or the Lechweg trail – start your summer holiday starts right outside our front door.
LADY’S SLIPPER BLOOM
“The shoe that comes from the flower” – the shoe-shaped blossom gives this plant its name. This orchid is a sensitive species and thrives in semi-shaded riparian forests. In Europe’s largest contiguous lady’s slipper habitat, it grows in the well-drained calcareous gravel soil of the dry pine floodplain forest of the Lech floodplains near Martinau. Those who are especially observant will discover this protected flower throughout the Lechtal Valley.
NATURE PARK IN SUMMER
In the Tiroler Lech Nature Park, you can enjoy a refreshing summer escape: solitary mountain hikes, leisurely cycling along the Lech Cycle Path, or a family adventure day on the Vital Trail in Holzgau.

Robert and Angela got married in Holzgau in 2006. Home is important to them and that is why they have decided to build their lives there, where they are both rooted.
